I’ve been sick for the past 2 weeks. I got really bad last week and so I stopped exercising for 2 days, and ate what I wanted, when I wanted. Then guess what! I stepped on the scale and saw that I lost 6 lbs!

Let me back this story up a bit. I gained 3 lbs during my first 2 weeks of the 21 day fix. I was upset with how much effort and work I was putting in, and it nearly killed me when I saw that I gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks of freaking hard work! Then I went onto the boards and read about how we gain water to help flush out the acids in our bodies due to muscle breakage (BIG INHALE)  because of the resistance training which make little tears in on our muscles.  I knew I should believe the professionals, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the scale. Then, when I stopped exercising for 2 days, my muscles healed (I didn’t feel pain that I had been feeling for 2 straight weeks), and all that fluid left my body! Wahoo!

So now that I’m not as crazy sick, I’m back on the program.
