Cheat day! Wahoo!
I drink a glass of lemon water every morning now. I try to drink it within 30 minutes of waking up, and I eat within 60 minutes of waking.
A member of my online FB group asked me if I was going to give myself any cheats. I said no, not this month. I was ready to take the challenge of not having any cheats at all for a month. Didn’t seem daunting to me at all. However, Ashley told me that I could and should have a cheat day on Saturday for lunch. I get it, if I cheat, I might as well cheat on a Saturday afternoon so that I can burn a lot of it off during the rest of the day. So, this is what I had:
Sooooooo good. It’s a cheeseburger from 5 Guys. I really like 5 Guys. They’re meat tastes like meat. They’re food is unpretentious. By mistake, my husband ended up buying the small version of everything. I was expecting a huge burger with huge fries. If you’ve never been to a 5 Guys before, one of their large fries can feed a family of 4. It’s LARGE. As I said, luckily my husband mistakenly ordered the kiddie size for all of us. It was filling, it was delicious, my kids ate everything, and although I’m full and feel like I have a baby rock in my stomach, I don’t feel horrible and I don’t feel guilty for “ruining” any hard work I’ve put into myself up until now.
I’m having a tough time finding the time to exercise on the weekends though. The weather is so beautiful that I want to clean our patio, clean the house, hang out with friends, or hang out on the patio. I want to BBQ! Stopping for an hour to jog sucks sometimes. Weekdays are easy because I exercise during lunch. Today I ended up doing the 21 Day Fix’s Pilates Fix because I just didn’t want to run. I did half alone, and half with my daughter.
Here are the kids doing the Pilates Fix. Money see, monkey do!
